According to a new report, Sebastian Stan’s character in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II,” previously reported as district attorney Harvey Dent/Two-Face, is now identified as a distinct villain named Mr. Zsasz.

Insneider recently released a surprising report, stating that Stan’s character in the film is Victor Zsáf – a sadomasochistic and psychopathic serial killer who marks each of his victims with a tally mark.

Additionally, he states that Brian Tyree Henry will, in fact, play Harvey Dent in the movie. Reeves himself confirmed the different actors in the movie, though neither he nor the studio has officially named the characters for the new additions to the cast.

Up until now, it was anticipated that Stan would assume the role of Harvey Dent, Scarlett Johansson would portray his wife Gilda, and Charles Dance would take on the part of his father Christopher Dent.

We know that Stan hinted he would portray “multiple characters” and confirmed he had been collaborating with the hair and makeup teams that “designed how his altered appearance will appear.”

Starting this month, filming will begin at Warner Bros. for the project. Leavesden Studios, along with location filming in London and Liverpool. Some rehearsals and a few test filming sessions have already taken place, with Colin Farrell later confirming his involvement will be limited to just two appearances throughout the film.

Zsasz has appeared multiple times on screen in films, television, and video games, with one of the most recognizable portrayals being Anthony Carrigan’s in FOX’s “Gotham“.

Robert Pattinson, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Sebastian Koch, Jayme Lawson, and Gil Perez-Abraham star in “The Batman: Part II“, which is set to premiere on October 1st, 2027.
