Netflix debuted the trailer for “The Last House,” a new sci-fi horror feature, which is slated to premiere on the platform on August 7th.

Directing with “Fast X” and “The Transporter,” Louis Leterrier leads the movie featuring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura. The tale centers on a family of four who find themselves trapped inside their home with no means of escape. Attempting to leave the house is consistently refused, and they quickly find out they are not alone.

They must collaborate to survive, facing both dwindling resources and an enigmatic threat that is trapping them.

Over the days, weeks, months, and years that follow, they question when they will be free, but the threat eventually makes itself known.

Moura took over Kingsley Ben-Adir’s role in the film, written by Matthew Robinson and produced by Leterrier, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kori Adelson, and Oly Obs.
