Finn Wittrock and Alexandra Daddario hope to find the right balance with the trailer for the bio-movie “Hershey.” In the film that recounts the Hershey Company’s genesis, Wittrock portrays chocolatier Milton S. Hershey while Daddario plays his wife, Catherine “Kitty” Hershey.

The story revolves around the businessman’s persistent attempts to launch his eponymous chocolate company, which had seen numerous setbacks

The film covers more than five decades of Milton S. Hershey’s life, starting around the early 1870s and ending by the late 1910s. It also highlights their commitment to philanthropy and community support. “Essentially, candy is more than just a business for me,” Wittrock states in the trailer. “It’s my passion.”

Later, Daddario tries to comfort him as he grapples with recipes that need to be just right without pushing the product too far in terms of cost. “Milton, you’re always chasing perfection, when perhaps you should be aiming for magic,” she suggests.

Directors Waters (“Freaky Friday”, “Mean Girls“) took charge of the film from a script co-written by Bubba Fulcher, Will Hardy, and Timothy Michael Hayes. The project featuring Alan Ruck, Richard Kind, David Costabile, and Heléne Yorke was revealed by Angel Studios at Cinema Conn in Las Vegas this year.
