Focus Features unveiled the trailer for “The Uprising,” the historical drama directed by ”United 93” director Paul Greengrass and starring Andrew Garfield.

Set during the Peasants’ Revolt in 14th-century England, the story follows a legendary rebel leader (Garfield) who assembles a band of everyday citizens to challenge the rule of King Richard II.

As the conflict spreads across Britain’s countryside, it transforms into a fierce struggle for justice, survival, and the very essence of a kingdom.

The ensemble features Katherine Waterston, Jamie Bell, Stephen Dillane, Tom Hollander, Cosmo Jarvis, Thomasin McKenzie, Jonny Lee Miller, and Woody Norman.

The producers are Gregory Goodman, Joanna Kaye, Joe Neurauter, Lars Sylvest, and Jason Greengrass.

“The Uprising” is set to open in cinemas on September 11th.
