Lionsgate unveiled the trailer for “Karoshi,” an action-thriller project that draws inspiration from the creators of the “John Wick” series.

The narrative takes place in a contemporary Manhattan where “corporate allegiance and cultural heritage have transformed daily life.”

After an employee’s demise, a clandestine outsider enters a dominant company, revealing the hidden, violent structure beneath its smooth facade.

Teo Yoo (“Past Lives“), who stars alongside Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad“), Cynthia Erivo (“Wicked“), Isabel May (“Scream 7“), Takehiro Hira (“Shōgun“), Bill Camp (“Presumed Innocent“) and Show Kasamatsu (“Tokyo Vice”).

Frequent “John Wick” franchise director Chad Stahelski produces the film which has been penned and directed by Takashi Doscher.
