The “Sex and the City” spinoff “And Just Like That…” finally released a new trailer and announced a premiere date. The show will premiere on Dec. 9 on HBO Max. Then, the show will pick up a decade and change after Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Samatha Jones (Kim Cattrall) were last onscreen. The fourth member of Sex and the City‘s core cast, Kim Cattrall, isn’t involved in the follow-up after falling out with Parker.

The much-anticipated show will follow the women as they make the transition from navigating their love&friendship through their journey in their 30s to 50s. The trailer shows Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda dining out together while Carrie’s said, “They say some things never change.”

 “Sex and the City” creator Darren Star also isn’t part of And Just Like That; Michael Patrick King, who served as showrunner for this series and wrote and directed both feature films.

The show’s cast also features SATC favorites Chris North, Evan Handler, David Eisenberg, Mario Cantone and the late Willie Garson.
