Paramount Pictures and Skydance are providing funding for the movie, which is a sequel to the four-season series on Amazon Prime Video that debuted in 2018.

The search for answers leads CIA analyst Jack Ryan to leave the safety of his desk job and enter into a deadly game of cat and mouse across Europe and the Middle East when he stumbles upon a suspicious series of bank transfers, a growing terrorist figurehead is in the process of preparing for a massive attack against the US and its allies.

Krasinski is back as Jack Ryan, Wendell Pierce is back as James Greer, Michael Kelly is back as the mysterious Mike, November, and Betty Gabriel is back as CIA Director Elizabeth Wright.

Sienna Miller, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild will be forming a new group with their participation. The film will be directed by Andrew Bernstein, who was an executive producer and director on Season 2.
