Paramount Pictures has dropped a new full-length trailer and official poster for Christopher McQuarrie’s latest outing, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” nearly a year after the teaser trailer debuted online.
The seventh installment of “Mission: Impossible” franchise, reunites Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames for their new adventure which was filmed in Rome, Venice, Norway and the United Kingdom.
The trailer reveals more of what Tom Cruise has in store when he returns to the IFM agent role he first originated in 1996. Here’s what the synopsis said, In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives of those he cares about most.
Joining them are first ‘Mission’ returnee Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge, Vanessa Kirby back as the White Widow from the sixth film. “Agent Carter” star Hayley Atwell leads the new faces which also includes Esai Morales as the villain, Pom Klementieff as his aide, and the likes of Cary Elwes, Shea Whigham, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Rob Delaney, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma and Mark Gatiss in supporting roles.
Dead Reckoning is produced by Cruise and McQuarrie, exec produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Tommy Gormley, Chris Brock, and Susan E. Novick.
Their Budget reached $290 million, the film marks the first of a two-film story that is expected to mark the final screen outings of Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt character.
“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” opens in cinemas on July 12th and will be followed by “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two” opening in June 2024.
