The trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming thriller, “After the Hunt“, has been released by Amazon MGM studios and it has already received a lot of buzz before its release.
Julia Roberts plays professor Alma Olsson in the film, which is centered around Maggie Price (Edebiri) who accuses Ivy League professor Henrik “Hank” Gibson (Garfield) of crossing the line. The film also stars Michael Stulbarg, Chloë Sevigny.
Amazon is releasing some intriguing projects this year that are being directed by highly talented directors. Luca Guadagnino is one of them, and he’s been on a hot streak for the past couple of years. His films are always entertaining to watch.
After the Hunt is still a mystery to us. Luca has been showing people when they are at their worst since the first trailer was released a month ago. It seems that the irony of this movie’s potential to become problematic is its intended focus. We won’t have a complete understanding of what we’re in for until the movie is released in October.
