Netflix’s “Assassin’s Creed” series has been extended by four more cast members.
Noomi Rapace (“Lamb,” “Prometheus”), Ramzy Bedia (“Of Money and Blood,” “Haunted Minds”), Sean Harris (“Mission: Impossible,” “The Stranger”) and Corrado Invernizzi (“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” “Ford v. Ferrari”) have joined the show in undisclosed recurring roles.
“Assassin’s Creed“, a Netflix thriller based on the popular video game, centers on a secret war between two shadowy factions, one of which is focused on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation. According to its official logline. “The series follows its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny.”
The “Assassin’s Creed” series is executive produced by Robert Patino (“DMZ,” “Westworld”) and David Wiener (“Halo,” “Homecoming”), who also serve as showrunners. Other executive producers include Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television and Matt O’Toole.
The video game has sold over 230 million units globally since it was released in 2007, making it one of the best-selling games in history. with 14 installments, the franchise is exploring the conflict between the secret orders of the Assassins and the Templars as they utilize advanced machines to access the genetic memories of Assassins in different periods of time to uncover powerful artifacts called Pieces of Eden.
