Paramount Pictures unveiled the initial trailer for “Heart of the Beast,” “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer’s latest film starring Brad Pitt alongside an animal.

Following a perilous plane accident, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Pitt) and his German Shepherd combat dog, Odin, find themselves lost deep within Alaskan wilderness.

They are compelled into a savage battle for survival alongside the harsh elements. This gripping adventure thriller delves into the unyielding connection between a man and his most faithful companion as they confront their ultimate challenge.

J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe are co-stars, and the movie has reportedly been tested in multiple screenings recently, receiving positive feedback.

Clocking in at 100 minutes, the project is described as a streamlined survival thriller, much like Joe Carnahan’s “The Gray”.

Eyer, Pitt, Olivia Hamilton, and Marty Bowen collaborate on the film, with Damien Chazelle serving as executive producer, with Cameron Alexander as the screenwriter.
