Sony Pictures has premiered the new trailer for “Jumanji: Open World“ before the film’s release in cinemas.
The project is the third in the revived franchise, with the studio noting this will be the final installment after “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” in 2017 and “Jumanji: The Next Level” in 2019.
In the new film, the characters have escaped the ever-changing jungles of Jumanji, but this time the game detaches from its console, allowing chaos to unfold in our world.
The original quartet of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan are reprising their roles, along with the help of their ‘players’ Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner and Ser’Darius Blain.
Also Back as well are Danny DeVito, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Marin Hinkle, Bebe Neuwirth, Lamorne Morris, and Rhys Darby.
Following the helm of the initial two reboot films, Jake Kasdan takes the reins again to direct, with a screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg.
