Roadside Attractions and Saban Films have debuted the trailer for the horror-thriller “Crawlers“, a creation from filmmaker Ángel Gómez Hernández, whose previous work was the frightening “The Boogeyman“.

Trapped in an apartment building under a police-ordered quarantine, manager Serena (Matilda Lutz) and her residents struggle to survive as a dangerous and aggressive spider infestation grows. With her deep understanding, Serena might be the only one able to keep them safe – if she can face her deepest fear.

Shanan Becker and Jonathan Saba of Saban call the film a unique and visceral horror experience and a “true, unapologetic genre film.”

Hernández has directed the film from a screenplay by Jayson Rothwell. Scott Strauss, Peter Welter, Jayson Rothwell, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Josh Weinstock, and Alexandra Milchan produce.

“Crawlers” releases in cinemas on October 16th.
