Set during the 1790s, the tale follows the three Dashwood sisters and their widowed mother, who are compelled to leave their family estate in Sussex.
They relocate to a small cottage on a relative’s vast property in Devon, where the two elder sisters both find romance and encounter heartache.
Georgia Oakley directs from a script adaptation by Diana Reid, while Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, India Flint, and Jo Walton produce.
Last week, “Sense and Sensibility” debuted in the UK and then heads to the US for a premiere on October 16th.
