Awich to Make Her Debut at New York’s Signature Summer Outdoor Music Event “Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage” on Sunday, September 14, 2025!
It has been confirmed that Awich, one of Japan’s leading female rappers, will perform at “Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage,” New York’s iconic outdoor music festival. This marks a historic first for a Japanese female rapper, and will be a milestone stage for Japanese hip-hop as well.
Following her track “Butcher Shop feat. FERG, ” produced by RZA, the leader of Wu-Tang Clan, Awich released “Wax On Wax Off feat. FERG & Lupe Fiasco,” expanding her full-scale activities in the United States and earning acclaim for both her musicality and presence.
“Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage” is one of New York’s most beloved, broadly accessible, free outdoor performing arts festivals. SummerStage annually presents more than 80 free and benefit performances in Central Park and neighborhood parks throughout the five boroughs reaching more than 220,000 fans.
