Official opening sequence for the upcoming video game “007: First Light” has been revealed by IO Interactive.
The sequence features the song ‘First Light’, which was written and composed by Lana Del Rey and David Arnold, who is known for his work in Bond movies.
Like Bond films’ opening credits, the usual traits of slinky female silhouettes are present. Bond walks around with his gun out, masks, eyes, computer screens, chandeliers, and the island explosion sequence right at the start. It seems like a tribute to Bond’s death in ‘No Time to Die’.
Lana Del Rey has already interacted with Bond before. Her song ’24’ was initially written as a contender for 2015’s”Spectre‘”, and Sam Smith’s ‘The Writing’s on the Wall’ was the winner of the contest, as she revealed two years ago.
Missions & Audio Director Dominic Vega and in-game soundtrack composers The Flight share their creative processes in a video that reveals how they developed the music for the game.
The upcoming release date for “007 First Light” is May 27th. It will be accessible through Xbox One S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
