A new Michael Jackson film has become available for streaming. Titled “Michael Jackson: The Verdict,” it becomes a three-part docuseries exploring the contentious 2005 criminal trial of the legendary singer. This follows a month after the theatrical release of the “Michael” biopic starring Jaafar Jackson, a film that earned approximately $850 million.
Today, Netflix subscribers gained access to the full three episodes of its latest original documentary, “Michael Jackson: The Verdict.” David Herman, the showrunner, oversaw the creation and executive production of the docuseries, with Nick Green taking charge of directing the episodes. It originates from Candle True Stories, with Fiona Stourton and James Goldston also taking on executive producer roles.
Following his 2005 criminal charge for multiple child molestation counts, Jackson’s trial took place. Despite the pop icon’s acquittal, the controversy has persisted as a recurring topic among the public.
Even after the pop icon’s passing, the controversy has continued to be a frequently discussed topic among the public, despite the fact that he was acquitted of all charges.
The documentary will include interviews with key figures who were inside the courtroom during the trial, featuring jurors and eyewitnesses. It is anticipated that both sides of the case will be presented, including the prosecution and the defense.
