Exclusive Video Interview: Director Marc Turtletaub on ‘Jules’

Check out more of our video interviews on our YouTube channel.

In the new film Jules, Milton (Ben Kingsley) finds his routine life forever changed when an alien crashes his ship in his backyard. While some might report this UFO sighting to the authorities, Milton deals with it with the way he tends to tackle his problems: bring it to the town meeting as yet another grievance. This comedy presents an uplifting look at life and the unexpected relationships that come along the way.

I had the chance to speak with director Marc Turtletaub about coming to this material and putting together a cast that also includes Harriet Sansom Harris, Jane Curtin, and Zoë Winters. He also reflected on his own career shift from producing to directing and some of his previous projects.
